Combustion chamber with gas burner for afterburning of process gas up to 1200 degrees and residence time of 2 seconds. Control with Lamtec Etamatic.

The process gas is introduced to the combustion chamber at one end along with combustion air. At this short end, a propane burner is also mounted for ignition and temperature protection of the combustion chamber. Process gas and combustion air are introduced into the combustion chamber in separate nozzles in the flame of the propane burner. This creates good mixing in the first part of the combustion chamber, and the combustion takes place with 5% excess air. The combustion chamber is designed for a continuous operating temperature of 850°C, maximum temperature in the combustion chamber of 1200°C.
