Glencore Nikkelverk

In 2010, Jarotech, in collaboration with Peder Halvorsen Industries, delivered a new preheating solution for Glencore Nikkelverk’s H2SO4 plant.

Jarotech designed and delivered a combustion chamber, a complete oil burner, combustion air fans, oil system, and automation. The maximum power of the plant is 7.6 MW with a regulation range of 1:10.

In 2018, we delivered 2 units of 5 MW oil burners for heating the roasting oven. The solution consisted of a special retractable burner solution adapted to the roasting ovens, a control cabinet with electronic Lamtec control, as well as an oil system and other automation.
