Boliden Odda

Over many years, Jarotech has delivered new burners for both the rolling furnace, H2SO4 combustion chamber, and roasting oven at Boliden in Odda.

In 2003, we converted 3 process burners from oil to natural gas, and in 2006, we delivered a complete 6.3 MW combustion chamber, burner, and automation for the rolling furnace. Heat exchanger with 300 degrees preheated combustion air.

In 2010, we delivered a startup burner to the H2SO4 plant’s new heat exchanger and in 213, 3 burners totaling 13.5 MW, specially designed by Jarotech for good adaptation to the operation of the plant.
